Imre Simon

Imre Simon works as a consultant and Development Manager of the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA) and works to intensify European co-operation in the field of youth information work and services. He manages professional development projects in the youth information and counselling domain. A certified youth information trainer, Imre has been active in the training field in human rights education and global education as well. He facilitates the transfer of knowledge among the youth information and counselling, youth work and youth policy fields.

Responsible for the co-ordination and funding of the international youth work of the regional associations and local groups of Naturefriends in Germany, elected member of the working group European Youth Policy of the German Federal Youth Council, representative of the youth associations in the development of the German National Action Plan on Education for Sustainable Development, developer for youth projects with fundings from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, the Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development and the European Union, master's degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and Educational Sciences.
